Here are some of my latest paintings of the horse racing world. It is such a pleasure to paint outdoors, and the last two photographs give a good example of my en plein air activity. Phil England took some shots of me painting the Straight Six at Flemington racecourse from the stewards tower. It usually takes about fifteen sittings to complete a painting of a racecourse, each sitting from about 9am to 4.30 pm, and some further work in the studio.
